Double rooms cost between €40 and €60 a night. Turin Hotels & Restaurants, Italy - Mid-range Hotels Book in advance at the Hotel Genio (Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 47; +39 011 650 5771), and it’ll cost from just €85 a night for a double. It’s in the historic central area and close to the station. Turin Hotels & Restaurants, Italy – Luxury Hotels The Townhouse 70 in the city centre (Via XX Settembre, 70; +39 011 1970 0003) combines the grand architecture of the entrance with a genuinely stylish, modern interior. The rack rate is €215 for a double, but if you hit lucky and book in advance, you can snap one up for as little as €120 a night. Le Meridien Art + Tech (+39 011 664 20 00) is at the top of the Lingotto complex on Via Nizza. A true five star establishment, rooms start at €200 per night. Film fans will recognise the private running track on the roof – it used to be the Fiat test track, and featured in the iconic car chase scenes of The Italian Job. The specialities are the desserts – chocolate and ice cream lovers will be in their element.
